i inspire confident vision and voice through self-discovery & bold creative exploration

I guide artists to transform doubt & fear into empowered resilience through integrative expression

my mission is to inspire fearless living through artmaking

I am committed to dismantling limiting patterns and internalized belief systems, guiding you toward joyful, centered, balanced growth.

Bodypoetica nurtures a transformative space where artists are clear and integrated in process and practice.

  • Consider me your energetic art sanctuary, where creativity is a journey of discovery. We explore your inner world by transforming all the feels and forms into something profoundly expressive that can act as a transformative catalyst in art and life.

  • Online classes and 1:1 mentoring to help humans understand themselves better, detox from the world, and use that understanding to supercharge their creativity to more live inspired, fulfilled, and content. You and your work will be stronger, more resilient, and powerful.

  • Classes target common limiting belief patterns in humans and examine how that manifests in creatives and their art practices. Through theory and practice, clients explore emotions, motivation and self/life/art purpose.

  • I believe that art can change lives. I’m here to show how creativity can be a window to the soul and a tool for transformation. I want humans to be fearless in their expression to live with more joy, and conceptually more powerful in their creations to reach the widest audience for their vision.

All of my classes celebrate witnessing the full range of human emotions.

  • Embrace Authenticity: I prioritize art to emphasize emotional exploration for genuine self-resonance and discovery

Celebrate Imperfection: My classes recognize imperfection and process to foster compassion, investigation, presence and connectivity.

Cultivate Curiosity: I value freedom to spark innovation, explore unconventional avenues, and enrich practices with diversity.

I will help you listen to your truest self.

  • Intuitive: I open to inner spaces, and excel at connecting metaphorical relationships to nurture innovative personal languages.

Introspective: I believe connecting with deeper energetic presence can help to uncover core creative essence and life purpose.

Transformative: I believe in the power of process-based artmaking to align, shift, reshape, and reorient perspectives within a larger context.

Diving, digging, revealing.

Artists go deep and let humanity know what’s happening. Living in equanimity is my conscious responsibility as caretaker of the Earth—attempting to restore a level of reciprocity through my practice.

  • I have been immersed in art, movement and creative practices my entire life. My work is interdisciplinary in nature and draws influence from the fields, scholars, mentors, friends, children, practices, teachings, and readings that have shaped my path.

I hold terminal degrees in fine art from Syracuse University and MICA’s Hoffberger School of Painting, and have taught curriculum including painting, drawing, sculpture, fine art business and theory in the US and Asia to all levels including live, synchronous and asynchronous, workshops, youth, teen, Continuing Education, BFA undergraduate and MFA graduate programs.

I have been a yogic and meditation practitioner since 2008 with international teaching certifications including: Meditation, Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga, Integrative Somatic Arts, Children’s Yoga, and Healing Trauma through Guided Drawing®. My continuing education includes: Butoh, Reiki, energy body anatomy, dreamwork, shamanic journeying, and sacred dance.

My courses center around heightening channeled sense perception to tap into natural intuition for creative inquiry.
